Michaele Gail Collyer, 75, of Waldport, Ore., died July 20, 2009 at her home.
She was born March 29, 1934 to Gale E. and Marian E. Klemmer Missler in Portland.
She managed Hickory Farms Theme Park for many years during her career. In her spare time, she enjoyed sewing and making quilts, which she donated to worthy causes such as nursing homes.
Her biggest joy in the past several years was working as a volunteer at the Oregon Coast Aquarium where she put in nearly 75,000 hours of volunteer time.
She also loved beachcombing, rock polishing and casino hopping.
She is survived by her daughters, Val Opgrand of Klamath Falls, Kristie Daharsh of Arkansas; son, Mark Hagenaars of Chicago; siblings, Judith Harrison of Portland, Joann Harrison of Arlington, Wash., and Terry Missler of Dover, Del.; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
