Yachats man sentenced in beating case

Co-defendant sentenced in June, another awaits upcoming trial

NEWPORT –Two weeks before his trial on a variety of charges including assault, unlawful use of a weapon, menacing, tampering with physical evidence and multiple others, Justin Bailey Wood pled guilty to a single count of Assault II, a class B felony.
