2012: What a busy year, part two

July saw the public release of a study that outlined options for Lincoln County’s fire districts to consolidate departments and share administrative tasks. A fire services work group – including representatives of Newport Fire, Depoe Bay Fire and Central Oregon Coast Fire and Rescue has met on a monthly basis to come up with a plan to share administrative functions and retain each agency’s unique identity and separate staffing.
