WALDPORT — A Waldport woman has been discharged from the local hospital after being treated for serious injuries she sustained in a rollover crash along Highway 34 on March 9.
Chanda Wall, 26, was transported to Samaritan Pacific Communities Hospital after she lost control of a 2007 Ford Fusion late in the afternoon on Sunday, March 9. She apparently fell asleep while traveling westbound near milepost 14, the Oregon State Police said. The car traveled onto the westbound shoulder of the roadway and the driver awoke and overcorrected, causing the vehicle to roll over at least once at approximately 5:15 p.m.
