Brandy Amber Carroll

Brandy Amber Carroll, 27, of Portland, Ore., died June 4, 2012 in Portland.

She was born June 10, 1984 to Virginia M. Carroll and Douglas V. Mekemson in Wrangell, Alaska. She spent her early years in Newport and Seal Rock and moved to Portland with her mother at age six. Brandy was a very caring person and had many friends, especially her extended friends and family in Portland.

She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, John Carroll and Andy Mekemson.

She is survived by her son, Jayden Carroll, of Seal Rock; mother, Virginia Carroll of Seal Rock; father, Douglas Mekemson of South Beach; grandmother, Mable Mekemson of Newport; grandmother, Grace Carroll of Seal Rock; brother, Tyson (Stephanie) Mekemson of Toledo; and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made in care of Affordable Burial and Cremation, P.O. Box 513, Newport, OR 97365.
