Mark S. Evans

Mark S. Evans, 61, of Waldport, Ore., died Jan. 20, 2013 at his home.

He was born Nov. 28, 1951. Mark lived most of his life in Sunnyvale, Calif. and recently moved to Waldport. He enjoyed the outdoors, working in his yard, playing guitar and traveling, he spent most of his time volunteering in service organizations.

He is survived by his mother, Beverly Becker; father, Claire Evans; daughter, Casey Evans; sister, Sheri Alter; brother, Brad Becker; fiancé, Bette Rackleff; and two nephews.

A celebration of his life was Saturday, Jan. 26, at his home in Waldport. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to any Salvation Army.
