‘Under the Sea’ raffle quilt ready

The Oregon Coastal Quilters Guild (OCQG) is featuring a Victorian-style Crazy Quilt as its 2012 raffle quilt. “Under the Sea” was constructed with various “fancy” fabrics and embellished with embroidery, beads, buttons, laces, handmade tatting, ribbons, thread painting, paint and inking.

Many of the blocks feature sea creatures and ocean life, and the 40-plus members who participated in its construction carried out the undersea theme with considerable detail.
