Yachats artist has juried painting
George M. Schoonover’s acrylic painting “Pilates Follies” has just been juried into the San Diego International Exhibition.
The San Diego Watercolor Society was established in 1964, and is one of the largest and most active in the United States. Its international exhibition is widely recognized for its high standard of excellence in water media art.
Schoonover has had paintings accepted into eight national and international exhibitions this spring. He most recently won the David Scott Award from the National Watercolor Society.
Schoonover maintains a home and studio, with his wife Robbie, inYachats.
