Three people injured in crash

Police say Evelyn Brown, of Waldport, lost control of her SUV as she drove westbound on Highway 34 this weekend. The vehicle traveled down an embankment and stopped in heavy brush. Three individuals, including Brown and two passengers, were injured. Brown was transported to Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Corvallis while two passengers were transported to Samaritan Pacific Communities Hospital in Newport. A toddler was uninjured. Three people were injured Saturday morning along Highway 34 west of Alsea when the driver of a vehicle lost control and went down an embankment. None of the injuries were life threatening.
