Man arrested after escape attempt

A Yachats man escaped from law enforcement custody and threatened to jump into the ocean after his arrest in relation to a domestic disturbance on Coolidge Lane in Yachats on Nov. 16, about 3:17 p.m.

Deputies from the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded to investigate a reported domestic disturbance where they arrested Christina Ronald Batchelder, 20, of Yachats, for Assault IV Domestic and menacing.
