Habitat for Humanity works on two Waldport townhomes

Construction crews have been hard at work on these new townhomes in Waldport. These are just two of the four townhomes that Habitat for Humanity plans to build in the area of Ray's Market. Qualified families purchase homes from Habitat on a zero percent 30-year loan and are required to put in 500 hours of sweat equity on their own homes or other Habitat projects. WALDPORT- Cathy Bright never expected to be a homeowner, but the Waldport resident smiles as she talks about her experience with Habitat for Humanity and the knowledge that soon, she and daughter will have a townhouse to call their own.
