Credit card companies and the elderly
“Greg, the mother you knew when growing up is gone, likely forever;” her doctor quietly stated. “You still will have some days of having her back, but those will grow less and less.”
I had come back to Missouri, the state of my birth, for my annual visit to see my parents and my sister. I did this as they really feel uncomfortable about traveling outside of a short driving trip now and then.
They used to love it when I moved somewhere new, as they knew I would have them come visit and I’d drag them all around. They loved their trips to Los Angeles and San Francisco. They had made it to Waldport, when I first came here and I was glad, at least they saw our life here.
