Waldport to award reservoir contract

Waldport’s City Council will award a reservoir renovation contract at their regularly scheduled meeting Thursday, Feb. 14 at 2 p.m. at the City Council Meeting Room at 125 Alsea Highway.

City Manager Nancy Leonard said the project, involving the removal and relining of the city’s main water reservoir, is scheduled to begin in mid-March. The reservoir will be drained, the old two part epoxy lining sandblasted away and a new lining applied.
