Landowner wants covered bridge road agreement

A Yachats property owner says Lincoln County has no legal claim to the road leading to the covered bridge on what is commonly known as North Yachats River Road.

Katrina Wynne says the road leading to a county covered bridge slated for a $700,000 overhaul starting in 2014 is actually her driveway. Lincoln County Commissioners in January approved the street legalization process for a portion of the road--the first step in putting a new shine on the historic bridge.
