School is back in session in Waldport

Following a community meeting on Thursday, April 18, students, parents, staff and community members tour the section of the new Waldport High School building that will house Kindergarten through sixth grade students from Crestview Heights School for the duration of this school year. The spring break that would seemingly never end has now ended.

Students in Kindergarten through sixth grade at Crestview Heights School in Waldport returned to class for the first time since a mold infestation was discovered before spring break. Last week, seventh and eighth grade students resumed class in a temporary space at Waldport High School while the district implemented plans to house K-6 students in the future Waldport High School just across the courtyard. Those students resumed class on Monday.
