NEWPORT — A man who absconded from parole was arraigned Monday on an indictment alleging he raped a 13-year-old runaway girl who ended up in his company during a crime spree.
Christopher Forcier Jr., 19, of Waldport, stands accused of four counts of rape in the second degree, two counts of sodomy in the second degree, and sexual abuse in the first degree.
He is also charged with one count of burglary in the first degree, one count of theft in the second degree and one count of custodial interference in the second degree. He faces more than a decade in prison if convicted as charged, based on state sentencing guidelines.
